How to Tell If It’s an Emergency
If any of the scenarios listed below apply to your pet–or you’re simply not sure if it’s an emergency–don’t hesitate to reach out to us:
- Not eating or drinking for 24+ hours
- Hemorrhaging
- Hit by a car
- Fell from a high place
- Vomiting and/or diarrhea for more than 24+ hours
- A lot of blood in stool/vomit
- Possible broken bones
- Attacked by another animal
- Panting/breathing heavily
- Collapsed
- Lost consciousness
- Unable to walk
- Abdomen feels hard and bloated
- No urinating or defecating for 24+ hours
