Anna calls the mountains of North Carolina home.
While growing up in Catawba County, North Carolina and spending summers in Sylva, NC, she developed a love for those mountains and an appreciation for Appalachian life. She attended Western Carolina University for Theater Arts and University of North Carolina at Greensboro, receiving her Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology. She has worked in multiple disciplines and positions within Veterinary Medicine since her career began in 1999 and has been a licensed technician since 2009. She enjoys not only the human and animal bonds but also the bonds created with the families as a unit. She joined the Pharr Road Animal Hospital team in January of this year.
Anna enjoys spending her free time with her husband David and daughter Mina, enjoying reading, true crime, hiking, visiting zoos and aquariums, any live music opportunities and occasionally quilting or crafting. Her evenings are spent snuggling with their cats Fred & George, and chihuahua Geoffroy.
