People often ask me, “Are you a dog person or a cat person?” I simply answer that I’m both.
Throughout my life, I have been blessed to have many furry companions and I’ve learned a lot from each of them. Living with both dogs and cats has given me a deep appreciation for what my clients experience. I enjoy developing long-term relationships with my clients and caring for their pets throughout their life. I strive to provide the best care possible while treating my patients with the kindness, compassion and respect that they deserve. I love what I do!
A little about my background… I grew up in Michigan. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Michigan State University, and a Masters of Public Health degree from the University of Florida. I have been practicing small animal medicine and taking care of dogs and cats since 1999.
I live in Brookhaven with my husband and daughter. My current pet family includes Cooper (a sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) and Ben (an awesomely complex rescue brown tabby). Previous beloved family members have included English bulldogs, a bull terrier, and many wonderful kitties over the years. My hobbies include traveling (especially to the beach), yoga, and book club.
